Contract Farming

We farm land for owners who want modern, well-run arable operations without taking on the machinery, labour and risk themselves.

Your land, our operation

A contract farming agreement keeps you as the farmer for tax and subsidy purposes while we provide the machinery, people and management.

We run a modern fleet and an experienced team across the estate and the land we farm for others. That scale means better timeliness at drilling and harvest, which is usually where yield is won or lost.

Agreements are written to suit the landowner. Some clients want a full contract farming arrangement with a shared divisible surplus; others simply want specific operations covered on a contracting basis.

We report openly on cropping, inputs, yields and margins, so you can see exactly how your land is performing season by season.

How an agreement usually works

We agree a cropping plan and budget before the season starts, covering rotation, varieties, inputs and expected output.

You receive a basic return on your land, and any surplus above the agreed costs is divided between us. It keeps both sides pointed at the same outcome.

We are happy to look at your land and talk through the options with no obligation.
